URBANGRAFIK were asked to devise a scheme for the new Leeds regional office for ICS. The fit-out had been completed but the space was lacking vibrancy and personality hence the call to arms! The brief was to add the finishing touch to what was a functional office space to enhance the working environment and help make the office a space to be proud of.
As with each URBANGRAFIK project undertaken, the starting point is extensive research into the local area. From this the best course of action is plotted, in this case embarking on the creation of a portfolio of bespoke photography to help anchor the scheme to the surrounding area. The unique imagery was utilised in the production of seamless wall murals and storage wall graphics to help bring the space to life. To further enhance the scheme we introduced feature quote walls, inspiring words from past residents of this proud city to motivate the present.
Branded entrance walls rounded off another scheme we’re sure the staff will appreciate.
Phase 1 of our second project for Encore Personnel involved making some improvements to their Leicester HQ. There's been much to celebrate in Leicester recently with their Premier League title win and we were happy to join the party and score a winner on this latest project!
This former mill possessed some interesting features such as exposed brickwork however over time the office had fell victim to ugly partition walls and other outdated modifications. The challenge for URBANGRAFIK was to provide a makeover with interior graphics in key areas which would disguise any unsightly surfaces while retaining the industrial feel of building.
The reception area was transformed with tension fabric featuring street art including a 'foxy' suspended floor-to-ceiling banner to hide the rear of storage cabinets. Vinyl graphics of wood textures refurbished walls and doors and a large double-sided tension fabric partition provided branding and a much needed privacy element for the reception staff. Brick-effect printed roller blinds helped reinforce the industrial aesthetic alongside white brick-effect wall graphics on partition walls and eye-catching glass graphics.
Brick vinyl created statement wall murals featuring quotes from Leicester icons, the centrepiece being an inspiring quote from Sir David Attenborough. These revitalised exposed brick walls featured alongside bespoke Leicester landscape photography on tension fabric and our new bespoke plywood-effect dry erase boards provided an unconventional approach to replacing boring whiteboards.
URBANGRAFIK helped PCH inject visual interest into their recent office fit-out by drawing inspiration from the culture and urban landscape of Bristol. The aim was to also help improve functionality of some of the surfaces by substituting unattractive whiteboards with graphic ‘Dry Erase’ areas.
Bespoke photography featured throughout the scheme with seamless photographic wall murals adorning the main reception area. The company's principal activity (Community Healthcare) was echoed in a bold ‘#COMMUNITY’ wall mural installed behind the reception desk welcoming visitors.
Meeting rooms featured quotes from famous Bristolians opposite calming images of nature in reference to Bristol's European Green Capital Status. Interview rooms and the Boardroom were improved with bespoke seamless wall murals and brick-style dry erase walls provided a boundless dry erase canvas for brainstorming. Even the back of a storage wall in the Training Room was transformed into a dry erase surface to say goodbye to whiteboards!
A plain storage wall in the Breakout Area was revamped with street art imagery and a fun dry erase concrete wall was introduced for team messages.
TNS needed to improve key areas of their office interior following a recent rebrand and brought in URBANGRAFIK to refresh the space.
Bespoke photography of Bristol featured throughout the scheme celebrating many iconic city landmarks. The ground floor Reception Area was cleverly transformed with a partition wall clad with eye-catching graphics using a tensioned fabric system (ideal for hiding ugly walls!). Seamless wall murals, reception desk graphics and storage door graphics helped complete the scheme revitalising these plain surfaces while remaining on-brand.
The first floor corridor was tired and outdated so URBANGRAFIK seized this opportunity to go all out with a scheme of interior graphics which would breathe new life into the area. Bold window films introduced colour and naming for key rooms, while door graphics incorporated branding and a corporate colour palette in accordance with company's new brand guidelines. Colour treated imagery of Bristol was used to match brand colours and featured on dramatic tensioned fabrics throughout the corridor to disguise unsightly partition walls creating an impressive new walkway high on visual impact.
The Breakout Area featured striking door graphics and tensioned fabrics incorporating elements of street art synonymous with Bristol's unique creative culture. Bristol night shots was the theme in the Boardroom with the highlight being a large statement tensioned fabric feature wall.
Overall the end result was ‘Gert Lush’!
Encore Personnel commissioned URBANGRAFIK to inject a ‘feel good factor’ into their Coventry branch following a recently completed fit-out.
The office Training Centre was the heart of the scheme and demanded creative frosted window graphics to communicate the range of personnel recruited by the company but to also create privacy from the main office. Positive messages throughout the scheme communicated Encore's brand values and were coupled with an industrial aesthetic – a subtle nod to Coventry's industrial heritage. Coventry's ‘Forest of Arden’ provided the theme for various elements and in particular for the breakout room which featured relaxing forest imagery produced on seamless wall murals, clear window film and door graphics.
Meeting Rooms, Reception and the Main Office were treated with wall graphics, door graphics, frosted window graphics, dry erase walls, seamless wall murals and double-sided printed window blinds transforming this ordinary office into an inspiring space for both Encore staff and visitors alike.
Situated right on the banks of the River Tyne there was only one real theme for the Ground Floor graphics for our latest office interiors project for Pulse. Seamless wall murals, large canvases and cabinet wraps featuring our own photography helped showcase the buildings and bridges of this historic river.
The First Floor presented its own challenges having, for the second project running, high vaulted ceilings – but there is nothing we like more than a challenge. The introduction of large tailor-made ceiling banners featuring local landmarks combined with famous quotes from the region completely revitalised the space. With the addition of a ‘Blaydon Races’ wall vinyl and murals around the top of the staircase the transformation was complete.
Coventry was next on our growing portfolio of Pulse office transformations and this unique layout presented us with a tough challenge. We were tasked with maintaining the same creative approach of providing a scheme influenced by location and history without turning this modern office into a museum.
Following plenty of research and some clever use of materials and techniques we helped create another unique space. A centrepiece is the boardroom which celebrates the importance of the British motor industry. A combination of abstract vintage car images overlaid with Coventry landmarks form large canvases, a bespoke printed roller blind and a unique feature wall mural.
A themed meeting room is influenced by local hero ‘Lady Godiva’ using bold tensioned fabric and door graphics – not forgetting the cheeky ‘Peeping Tom’ blinds! ‘Knitted-look’ blinds and large fabric ceiling banners now adorn the main office in reference to the city's links to the textile industry with wooden printed OSB panels on the walls featuring the ruined nearby Cathedral.

Existing clients LILA* commissioned URBANGRAFIK to provide a scheme of interior graphics for the first phase of development of their new language school in Canada Water, London. Using the theme ‘River Icons’ we emulated a walk along the Thames by introducing bespoke photographic wall murals of famous London landmarks in themed classrooms. To support the scheme, tailor-made colourful door graphics and subtle, custom glass manifestations were provided featuring an abstract representation of flowing water and reeds which can be found in the surrounding area.
We incorporated LILA*'s branding throughout and introduced distressed surface graphics in reception to fit the urban/industrial look we helped identify for the school. We designed custom ‘All You Need Is Love’ illuminated feature signage in the cafe area which adopts a subtle reference to the company's Liverpool roots while underpinning their brand statement of ‘Love to Learn’. The whole scheme was finished off with vibrant, LILA* branded ‘one-way vision’ external window graphics near to the entrance providing the perfect introduction into the stylish interior of this unique language school.
